Traditional Wool Blanket

This traditional 100% wool blanket was made on a backstrap loom in San Roque, Ecuador.  These are seemed up the middle because of the traditional loom width.  These backstrap looms are what the Ecuadorians have been weaving on since before the Spanish arrival in South America.  These measure 63" x 80".
